Native English Studio - Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to all services provided by [Polly Wingent / Native English Studio] ("we"; "us", or "our") through our website. By booking and paying for English language lessons, you ("the client" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Booking & Payment

All lessons must be booked in advance using our website enquiry form.
Once lesson times have been agreed, payment must be made in full to confirm the booking.
Lessons are only confirmed once payment has been received.
We accept payment via Revolut. You will receive a secure payment link from us, which you can use to complete your payment quickly and safely.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a lesson up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time.
Cancellations or changes made within 12 hours of the lesson start time are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

4. Refund Policy

No refunds will be given for missed lessons, late arrivals, or cancellations made less than 12 hours in advance.
If we are unable to deliver a scheduled lesson (e.g. due to illness or technical issues), we will offer to reschedule or provide a full refund.

5. Conduct & Expectations

Please ensure you have a stable internet connection and are ready at the scheduled time.
If you are more than 10 minutes late, the lesson may be considered a no-show and marked as completed.

6. Limitation of Liability

We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our services.
Our total liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific lesson(s) in question.

7. Jurisdiction & Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland.
Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

8. Clients Outside the UK

By using our services, clients located outside the UK agree that any contract formed is under Scottish jurisdiction and law.
All disputes shall be resolved through Scottish courts unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR)

We collect only the data necessary to provide and manage our services (e.g. name, email, lesson history).
Your personal data will be stored securely and never shared without your consent, except as required by law.
